I love making all different kinds of cards. Easel cards are one of my favorites. They are easy to make and everyone loves to receive them.
Supplies needed: one 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock, one 4 1/4" square of cardstock, two 4" square pieces of designer paper, scoring tool, strong adhesive, desired images and embellishments.
Step 1: Score the 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock at 4 1/4" and 6 3/8"
Step 2: Prefold all score lines. First fold the card in half, then fold the second score line (6 3/8") opposite from the 4 1/4" score line.
Step 3: Add adhesive to the 2 1/8" x 4 1/4" section cardstock. Adhere the 4 1/4" square to the card base.
Step 4: Decorate the card front and inside of card with the two 4" squares of designer paper. To make the card stand by itself, add an embellishment or sentiment with an additional layer of adhesive.
Step 5: Decorate card as desired.
I hope you enjoy making your own easel cards.
