Technique Tuesday

Seeing as it is Tuesday I am going to do a little tutorial for you all! With summer on us, it has really been HOT in my neck of the woods! All you can do is drink lots of water and try to stay cool out of the sun! So with that in mind, today's tutorial is a fun little way to dress up your water bottle!

Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock to 2.5" x 11".

Step 2 : Score horizontally - one end at 2", and the other end at 2.5".

Step 3: Punch a 1.5" circle in the center of the 2" scored tab.

Step 4: Cut a 2.5" x 2.5" square of coordinating CS or DP.

Step 5: Fold 2.5" scored flap up, and affix 2.5" x 2.5 " square of coordinating CS or DP.

Attach to make a pocket using 2 (or more) brads as shown below.

Step 5: Stamp your choice of image on a 2 inch punched out circle and affix to the center of the flap.

Step 6: Place over the water bottle and insert the drink mix packet of your choice. You may also decorate the holder with scraps of ribbon too.

Isn't this cute? It would look so nice to have a bunch sitting on the table at your next cookout or party. What a cute craft or favor this could be too! The uses are endless! :)

Hope you liked my tutorial! I'll be back tommorrow to tell you a little about Thursdays TT Challenge!
