Hi there, another Thursday, 2 weeks are gone with the wind, so time for our 2-weekly new Challenge that lasts till February 20th. The team had the opportunity to play with the re-featured Image, Key to your Heart, a special one now Valentine is coming and our lovely Shelly has given it away on the blog too at our BONUS Challenge. The Challenge is Neutrals with a POP of colour, and Ooohw My Goodness, the team was so anxious to start with their projects, most girls totally forgot about fitting in the challenge......Shelly ordered us to sit in the corner, so that's where we are rigth now.....But we still have some beautifull cards to share to give you some inspiration. Stephanie, such a fun shaped card!  And I love the use of the wood grain embossing plate on the wrapper of the cupcake.  Just genius!  I had to look twice to see what you used and it worked just perfectly! I also love the pretty embellishment detail on the bottom ruffle.  So pretty in orange.  :) 

Manderly, we loved this bright and happy project!  I love all the layers and ribbon and the glossy accent details are perfect!

Tutorial Tuesday - 3-D Card

Hi girls it's Tuesday again, so time for a new Tutorial. And this time a special fold again, I just love them. It's called a 3-D Card, and perhaps you've seen them already, but didn't know how to make it. I'll show you today.

You don't need a lot of things, only 2 pieces of cardstock (6 x 10 3/4 and 3 3/8 x 6 inches), a scoretool, tape, a digi and some designpapers.

Score the big piece at 6, 7 1/8, 9 1/8, and 10 1/4 inch. Score the smaller piece at 3/8 and 1 1/2 inch.

Fold both pieces as to photo shows you.

Now it's time to decorate your project cause when it's taped you can't do that anymore....be sure to do some backsides also as the photo shows you.

After putting together the big piece, you put on the smallpiece as shown.

Your project is all together now and should look like this, now you can decorate it as you please. If you want to know how mine turned out, you have to come back on Thursday.....when the team has some lovely cards for you. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and you can make one of your one. TTT Challenge Winners - Anything Goes - January 2013

Whew....what a busy few days.  We have been hard at work at Crafter's Digital Art Center.  I know I posted yesterday about the Grand Re-Opening, but I just have to mention again what a fun place this is for crafters.  Be sure to drop in and take a look around if you haven't already.  And we have some plans in the works for the members of our Shelly's Images group at CDAC that will tie into our challenges here at the blog.  You won't want to miss it.  So head over and become a member at CDAC and then join us in the Shelly's Images CDAC Group.

As always we had some truly wonderful entries for our "Show us what you got!" challenge. Thank you so much to everyone who entered!  You really made it hard for us to choose a favorite!!!!

Karal, another card that is so visually effective.  I love the way the scalloped circle disappears off the edge of the card.  
Karen you have so many beautiful design elements here.  I love the frame that is curved on opposite corners.  And the paper punching and sewing are just incredible.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love the look of sewing on paper projects?  :)
