TTT Challenge Winners - Show us your stripes!

The Gold Medal Award winner is Nana Connie from Grammy's Attic!

Connie, this is a beautiful project using Shelly's Images Carrot Patch! The sentiment is fabulous and we loved the striped elements.

Our Silver Medal Award winner is Berit from Berit's Hobbykrok!

Berit, this project is just adorable.  The stripes are perfect for our challenge and the black really stands out and makes it perfect for a teenager.  

And, Our Bronze Medal Award winner is Joy from Crazy for Daisies. Joy, the DT and I thought your card was just simply adorable.  The image and the stripes are really the focal point.  Your card is the perfect example of "less is sometimes best".  Everything really makes a statement.

Hazel, this is an adorable Easter card!  The stripes work in perfectly and all of the elements are just beautiful!

TUTORIAL TUESDAY : FAUX PAPER PIECING

Do you love the look of perfectly paper-piece projects but couldn't be bothered by all that extra printing and fussy cutting?

If you answered "YES, that's me!" this tutorial is for you ...

FAUX PAPER PIECING 

STEP ONE

Print your image onto patterned paper :

(TIP : an all over pattern in lighter colours achieves a better final product)

STEP TWO

Colour your image in your medium of choice:

 

STEP THREE

Create and embellish your card.

That's it ! You're done!

How easy is that?!

TTT Challenge Winners - Color Challenge Kraft, Pink, and Orange

Whew...everyone must have had a crazy busy week like we have had here at my house.  The weather has been fantastic and it just seems like there have been so many things to do.  Not to mention beginning to work in the yard to get it back into shape after winter.  We have already mowed twice and it isn't even April yet!

Only 3 entries this week...but still so much creativity and inspiration!  So we will have a Gold and Silver Medal Award winner and a Top Hat Award winner. 

The Gold Medal Award winner is Ginger from Ginger's Stamping Spot.

Ginger, we loved this amazing project.  Not only did you use a SI digi stamp, but you used the one we featured this week.  Just adorable.  Thanks for making such an amazing project with 1 Bunny Trail Lane.

Our Silver Medal Award winner is Olga from Elephant Fairies.

Olga, this card is a beautiful use of this week's color challenge colors.  I love the little orange embellies.  Just goes to show that this combination of colors is amazing together.

And the Top Hat Award (first name out of the hat using random.org) is Pia from Pias Papir og Perler

Pia, this is an adorable little gift sack!  And wonderful to see a Kraft gift sack used for this challenge.  Anyone would feel so special to get a gift in this pretty sack.
