Marvelous Monday revisited...

I told you I wasn't done with posting the awesome creations from the Shelly's Images DT! By now, you must have been to the SI Store to see the new release! If not, be sure to head over there!Check out what Shelly and Min created with the new digi

Min's 2nd card using this beautiful tulip digi was created with recycling in mind! She was conveniently able to use her paperscraps - those beautiful bits of paper, ribbon, and ephemera that most papercrafters are loathe to throw away! (I know...I literally have drawers full of scraps!) Is this not an ingenious idea for a wonderful Mother's Day card? Be sure to leave Min some love when you are checking out this and the other amazing creations on her BLOG!

Shelly is the artist behind these wonderful digis! Therefore, it is no surprise that her coloring is above and beyond extraordinary! She even glittered her lovely lavender tulips with Sparkling H2O's! With all this inspiration, how could you not want to head to the SI Store and score yourself such beautiful art?!

There is (at least) ONE more post this afternoon for Marvelous Monday! Wait until you see the fantastic creations that Audrey has made! It is really awesome and a great way to end our new release day!

See you later!

Marvelous Monday...part deux!

So have you been to the SI Shop to score the gorgeous new digi? If so, be sure to show us what you do with it on our SNR fansite! If not...well...what are you waiting for?!

To further inspire you, I am going to share two more of the awesome cards created by our wonderful design team! We hope you will check them out and leave them some love on their respective blogs. I've conveniently highlighted and linked everything, so you simply have to click to comment and go see what they are up to!

This card created by Bev, is truly a masterpiece! She combined two impeccably coloured tulips in a wonderful layout! The scalloped, lacy edging and the stacked bows emphasize the beauty of these images, while not distracting from the dual focal points. A fantastic card that any mom would be thrilled to have! Check out Bev's Blog to see what else she has made! Be sure you leave her some love while you are there!

This card by Marion is so soft and textured, that you almost want to reach out and touch it! The soft pastel palette, and her exceptional tag on card layout is simply beautiful! And that yummy, cotton candy colored bow is the perfect embellishment too! Who wouldn't be thrilled to recieve this card? Be sure you head over to Marions Blog to let her know what you think of this card and all of her other creations!

I will be posting yet more of the SI Design Teams creations later this afternoon! We hope you'll come back and check them out! While you are waiting though, why not mosey over to the SI Shop and browse all of the digital artistic renderings from Shelly?!

Marvelous Monday!

YaY!! I'm so happy to be the DT leader for the SI Blog this week! I'm actually a bit shocked they handed the reins to ME! I'm known to have alot of energy, but I can also be a bit of a clown! However, I will do our team proud! Expect to see ALOT!

Today is Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images! That means that there will be an AWESOME new digi released in the SI Shop today! (psst...there's a discount on it too!) You GOTTA go grab it for yourself! Check out what I've done with it myself!

I colored this card using Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, a milk pen, and even a Sharpie! Shelly's artistic images are so simple and elegant, that their true beauty just shines through no matter what medium you use! In the picture below, you can even see the veins that are in the delicate petals of the image!

Need more inspiration? Throughout the day, I will also be featuring some the beautiful things the design team has made using the latest digis and more! So be sure to check back here often! Don't forget you can also follow the SI Blog to be alerted when we post each new thing!

Here is another fabu creation made by Min!

This absolutely gorgeous card has just the right touches! The rich bold color offset by the gentle, softer colors and the delicate organza ribbon make this card truly stand out! Be sure to drop by Min's Blog and tell her how much you love what she's done!

See you in a little while with another fantastic card by another of our talented design team members! You really gotta see the amazing creations from our team! They will really blow you away!

Good saturday morning to you.

Goodmorning everyone.

Today I just wanted to share a bit about my past days over here in the Netherlands. On May 4th we had our memorial day for all the people that were killed during world war II and in other war situations and during peace missions all over the world. At 8 PM the whole country is silence. Nobody speaks for 2 minutes... no traffic, no airplanes, no trains.. everybody and everything stand still. And that is so unbelivable... but we do. And we give honor to all of them that gave their life for our Freedom.
And on May 5th we celebrate the fact that we can live in freedom. On this day in 1945 the German's were defetad and the war finally ended for us. So on that day we celebrate that.
And every year on those days I thank the people who died for us and made it possible that we can celebrate this day. And I know that in America there are holidays like this as well. How about if we ask Shelly if she can make a special image for your Memorial Day or perhaps you will use that image and to join in Operation Write Home. I think that Shelly would love to make a beautiful digi stamp for this . Please if you have suggestions on what it could be... let us know!

Love to all of you xx

Fabulous Freebie Friday!

TGIF!!!

Whew, I don't know about you but it felt like Friday should have arrived DAYZ ago!! Why? Because we have some Fabulous Freebies to share with you. You've seen the great stamps that Shelly designs and guess what, like mother, like daughter. Shelly's daughter Taylor (who is 11 years old) has the same creative genes. All kids want to be like their mom's (at least for a little while, right?). If you haven't been to the store lately, stop by and check out our new page - it's the Kidz Korner. Digi-stamps drawn for kidz (big kidz too) by a kid!

With the weather getting nice, and the kids getting antsy to get out of school for the summer - Summer is in the air and Taylor has captured that with her first two digi-stamps and sentiments.

These are great images for your kiddos to color while you share your craft together (or heck, if your like me, you might just print these out for yourself to use and send a card to a kid in your life).

Here's a creation from the designer herself using her line of Kidz Korner stamps.

Here's the card I created using Taylor's Kidz Korner Images and Marion's TTT Challenge sketch!

I love this Smilin' Sunshine all decked out in Summer Shades!! This is headed to one of my favorite kidz!

We'd love to see what your Kidz do with the Kidz Korner Image - share with us by posting a link to their creation in the comments section of this post!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Hugs - Min

Good Morning to you.

Today we are going to have a Sketch Challenge:

....here is my example. I choose for the Cake Chef since my son is going to a special college to get educated to be one. The circles are all nested into each other with different patterned papers. And the little mirror tells you that you're the sweetest. I was inspired by the freebie from last friday, did you see all the fabulous sentiment Shelly and Min gave us? You didn't, Hurry up then, go to Shelly's Images and go get this one too.

So are you getting inspired by this one? I do hope so. And the prizes are awesome today, if you use an image from Shelly's Images, and win, you'll win 2 images of you choice. Of course you're free to use other companies images and if you're our weekly winner, you'll win 1 image of your choice.
So let's get busy and show us your work.
Love Marion.
