The Details
• You will need to be able to photograph or scan your project for submission to Shelly’s Images. Submissions are due on the due date. Remember...taking good pictures of your projects is very important.

• Design team members must have a blog or website with regular updates, and members should enjoy participating in online challenges in the stamping/paper crafting community.  Design Team members must make a post to their blogs for the TTT Challenge/Feature which begins the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.  These posts MUST go live to your blogs between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. CST on the date that our challenge begins.

• Be ready to have some FUN and enjoy digital stamps!!! Have fun at our blog and at the blogs of our followers and other DT members and post often! We want a fun and light-hearted atmosphere on the blog.

• DT members must become members of all required areas including our Blog (shellysimagesblog.blogspot.com), and Group sites. Invitations will be sent but it is very important that the Design Team is present in these areas.

• DT members grant Shelly's Images unlimited use of the photos submitted for use on the blog and at the DT group site. This includes, but is not limited to posts at the blog, web groups, and monthly newsletter. This permission does not expire when the DT member has completed their term with Shelly's Images. The original designer will be credited anytime the project is used.

  • DT members should remember that their number one priority as a member of Shelly's Images Design Team is to promote Shelly's Images as often and as much as possible.  ONLY projects featuring Shelly's Images Digi Stamps will be allowed at the blog.

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Design Team Members are required to complete projects for each TTT Challenge/Feature post (TTT Challenges are the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month).  Digi stamps for each challenge are available to the DT free using a voucher to our store.  By downloading the digi stamps the team member is promising to submit a project by the deadline for the challenge.  (please read our "2 strikes and you are out" statement below)  These projects are due by the date listed in the discussion area for each challenge.                                                                                                                         (Pictures of the items will be used on the blog, but may also be used on other group sites and in the gallery at Shelly’s Images as well as in our Monthly Newsletter.  All projects submitted for blog use should be new projects that haven't been published before at blogs or challenges. Once they are published at the Shelly's Images blog please feel free to post them anywhere you wish. The design team member grants Shelly's Images permission to use the pictures that are submitted at any time and in any form so long as credit is given to the designer. There are many opportunities to participate.)                                                                                                       Our TTT Challenge starts on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
  • Design Team Members are required to post about our TTT Challenge/Feature at their blog after the post has appeared on the Shelly's Images blog.  These posts MUST go live to your blogs between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. CST on the date that our challenge begins.
  • Design Team members are assigned Design Team Lead spots at our blog.  Being the DT Lead is a great opportunity for each member to add their own flair and personality to the blog and a great way to get featured even more at our blog. Members can also earn Senior Design Team status by serving on the DT for more than a year and by having been a DT Leader at least 2 times or by serving as DT Leader at least 8 times.  The DT Leader is responsible for the Technique Tuesday post (any tip, technique, or tutorial you would like to teach.), and a post announcing our Terrifically Thrilling Thursday Challenge/Feature.  All blog posts should be scheduled to go live at 6 a.m. CST.  All challenges are scheduled ahead of time because of our participation with blogs that list our challenges.  Please follow this schedule when posting your challenge.  DT Assigments will be listed at the DT Blog.  Failure to complete an assignment will affect the "2 strikes and you are out" policy.  Please read below.
  • Design Team members will comment on challenge entries according to a number assignment.  Check at the DT group to find out your assigned numbers.  You should comment on any challenge entry ending in your assigned number.  So, for example, if your numbers are 2 and 9 then you will post on the 2nd entry, the 9th entry, the 12th entry, the 29th entry, and so on.   Comments must include that you are representing Shelly's Images.

 Also....

• Promote Shelly’s Images Digital Stamps through your blog, through the SI Blog, and whenever you see an opportunity. We need great Shelly’s Images cheerleaders. Posting at the Shelly's Images Blog is required. Our members should see the Design Team participating for each post. Posting at the blogs of other DT members is not required, but is strongly encouraged. It means so much to hear kind comments on your projects and on your blog.

• Participate as much as possible in discussions at the blog, and group sites. The more others see us enjoying and creating the more they will want to be involved too.

• Participate in any design team discussions. Open communication is key. Please check in at the design team group to hear about any news and to support our group. This is the main area of communication.

Only projects made with SI digis will be allowed on the SI Blog. This goes for entering a project at a challenge or making a tutorial.  Even if the challenge is an "Anything Goes" challenge the Design Team should still be at our blog representing Shelly's Images.

• Design Team members are prohibited from selling their own digital stamp art. If you have plans to sell your own art then please do not apply to be a DT member at Shelly's Images. Anyone who is selling their own digital art will be dismissed from our Design Team.

• Adhere to the Terms of Use agreement for Shelly's Images. Please take the time to read through the terms of use.

• Any group mailings must be sent to Shelly or Min prior to sending for approval. Do not send group emails or emails representing Shelly's Images without prior approval. Do not send emails to anyone as a representative of Shelly's Images without prior approval.

  • Understand that you are not an agent of Shelly's Images.com.  Do not associate Shelly's Images.com in any business relationships or contracts without permission from Shelly.  Such permission if allowed will be granted in writing.

• Agree to a term of 4 months. We understand that things come up in life. If you need to change your term we would appreciate knowing as soon as possible.

• Members who do not adhere to these requirements will be dismissed from our Design Team. At that point all privileges associated with being a Design Team member will cease.  We do use a "2 strikes and you are out" policy.  If you download the image for a challenge and then don't supply a project for the challenge you will get an email warning after the first occurrence.  You will be terminated from the team after the 2nd occurrence. Failure to complete a Design Team assignment on time will also result in a strike.  These assignments are clearly listed at the DT Blog.  And failure to fulfill your commenting assigments will result in a strike.  At Shelly's Images we try very hard to keep our requirements to a minimum.  We want this hobby to be fun and enjoyable and not another chore.  We do however depend on you turning in projects on time.

What You'll Get From Us

• A great opportunity to work with a fun design team, learning new techniques, as well as a great platform to showcase your talent.

• DT members will receive all of the Featured Shelly's Images Digital Stamps that are released during their design team term.  Shelly's Images provides many of the digital stamps well in advance to give DT members plenty of time to complete projects.  By downloading digi stamps the DT member is promising to have a project for the corresponding challenge.  Any image that a DT member receives must first be used to complete the requirements for the upcoming feature.  The project must be entered in the Feature Discussion.  Once those requirements are met the DT member can use and keep the image for any future personal projects as long as they meet the requirements of the Terms of Use.

• Your blog will be posted in the Shelly’s Images blog which will provide more traffic to your blog.
