It is suppose to be a kid's fave, but my step brother who is 48 always requests these, lol.

A store bought roll of peanut butter cookies which you then cut into one half inch slices and then quarter. Take each quarter and roll into a ball which you place into a minature muffin pan....baking according to package directions. In the meantime unwrap minature Reece's cups and upon removing the muffin tin from the oven, place one pressed into each cookie. Allow to cool slightly, then remove to wire rack to complete cooling. These should make 48 if my memory is correct. Very simple, and not homemade....but delicious and always a winner wherever I take them.

If you try these, hope you enjoy!Patti P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16408837464626707537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8933166620376156415.post-13418338335882964042011-12-07T17:42:28.241-06:002011-12-07T17:42:28.241-06:00I do not make my own cookies but these are suppose...I do not make my own cookies but these are suppose to be the ultimate gourmet cookies: crisp on the outside, chewy and soft on the inside, and really simple to make.

Ingredients
350g/12¼oz unsifted flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
225g/8oz butter
175g/6¼oz caster sugar
175g/6¼oz soft brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
350g/12¼oz dark chocolate, crumbled

Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5.
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Beat in the eggs. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate.
Split the pliable dough into two halves, rolling each out into sausage shapes, approximately 5cm/2in in diameter. Wrap them in cling film and transfer to the refrigerator until ready to use.
When you are ready to bake the cookies, simply cut the log into slices 2cm/¾in thick and lay on a baking tray, widely spaced apart. Bake for 9-11 minutes.
Serve.

Michaela xxMisty'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07167054085746152159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8933166620376156415.post-91417026426772277792011-12-07T14:24:32.936-06:002011-12-07T14:24:32.936-06:00I have wanted a cookie press for ever.
